Session 1 | Dr. E. Dale Locke – Wesleyan Theology
Learn from our Founding and Lead Pastor - Pastor Dale. Pastor Dale received his Doctor of Ministry Degree in Biblical Preaching and Christian Church Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. In this session we will explore John Wesley’s theological ideas, and Pastor Dale will share his reasons for choosing to have our church rooted in the Wesleyan tradition.
Session 2 | Dr. Steve Seamands – What I Have Learned About Spiritual Warfare
Learn from Dr. Steve Seamands, Professor Emeritus of Christian Doctrine at Asbury Theological Seminary. Dr. Seamands is renowned for his teaching and writing on Christian Doctrine, Healing, Spiritual Warfare and renewal. In this session we will explore about the biblical worldview of spiritual conflict and how can Christians respond.
Session 3 | Dr. Kathy Maxwell – The Biblical Basis for Women in Ministry
Learn from Dr. Kathy Maxwell, Associate Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University. In this session we will look at examples of women in the Old and New Testaments and explore the biblical basis for women serving in ministry leadership roles.
Session 4 | Dr. Nathan Maxwell – Understanding and Growing From the Psalms
Learn from Dr. Nathan Maxwell, Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University. In this session we will explore the nature, value and purpose of the biblical Psalms, as well as their role in the lives of believers from ancient times to present day.
Session 5 | Dr. Mark Witwer – Christian Views of Creation and Science
Learn from Dr. Mark Witwer, High School Science Teacher at Orangewood Christian School in Maitland, FL. In this session we will explore the ways evangelical Christians approach origins issues. Learn how believers - all agreeing that God created everything and committed to honoring God's Word and God's world - understand how and when God created in ways that differ but that all seek to celebrate God's greatness.
Session 6 | July 7 – Dr. Michael Beck – Fresh Expressions of Church
Learn from Dr. Michael Beck, Director of Re-Missioning for Fresh Expressions U.S. and Cultivator of Fresh Expressions for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. In this session we will explore what fresh expressions are and how God is using them reach people who might never have come to a church.

Session 7 | July 14 – Dr. Tim Tennent – World Christianity
Learn from Dr. Tim Tennent, President of Asbury Seminary and Professor of World Christianity. The church is growing faster around the world today than at any time in history. In this session we will survey examples of God's work around the world. You will be encouraged to see how Christ is building his church in remarkable ways.
Session 8 | July 21 – Dr. Ben Witherington – Apocalypse NOW???
Learn from Dr. Ben Witherington III, Jean R. Amos Professor of New Testament for Doctoral Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. In this session we will explore the actual nature of apocalyptic prophecy in the book of Revelation (and elsewhere in the Bible) and talk about what it does and doesn't tell us about the end times and the return of Christ.
Session 9 | July 28 – Dr. Brittany Melton – How to Understand the Old Testament
Learn from Dr. Brittany Melton, Assistant Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University. This session will provide insights on how to understand the different types of writings in the Old Testament to help us interpret and apply them to our lives.
Session 10 | August 4 – Dr. Victor Copan – How to Understand the New Testament
Learn from Dr. Victor Copan, Professor of Ministry Leadership and Biblical Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University. This session will provide insights on how to understand the different types of writings in the New Testament to help us interpret and apply them in the way the authors intended.
