EMPOWERING YOUR FAMILY FROM BIRTH TO GRADUATION
Community of Hope’s Milestone Strategy allows the church the chance to come alongside families at every phase of a child’s life. Each phase presents distinctive opportunities to leverage that will influence a kid’s future and their walk with Christ. Each milestone class is uniquely designed to help kids navigate those moments of transition, and to equip parents to be the primary disciplers of their children.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Milestone: Infant Baptism
Milestone: Infant Baptism is the first step you will take with your child in their faith journey. Through this class, you will learn that now is the time to lay important foundations for your child’s faith. We will equip you to become their primary discipler. We will also discuss what to expect during the infant baptism service and the meaning of the vows you will take. You will receive valuable resources to start you and your little one off on the right track!

Milestone: Kindergarten
Milestone: Kindergarten will equip you for the next phase of parenting, and prepare your child for entrance into elementary Kids of Hope. Your child will receive their first ‘big kid’ Bible, and you’ll have a special role to play in this significant moment. We’ll discuss opportunities and challenges of this new elementary school phase, and you’ll receive your next set of resources to equip you in your role as primary discipler of your child.
2025 Classes will be scheduled for August 2025 at the beginning of the school year.
Milestone: Middle School
Milestone: Middle school is a 4-week class for you and your student who is going into middle school. Students will learn about what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ and partner at Community of Hope. This stepping stone in your child’s faith journey is our version of the traditional confirmation class. The class is designed to help your child transition from children’s ministry to student ministry. Parents, you’ll be equipped and given resources to discuss sexual integrity, technological responsibility, healthy habits, and authentic faith with your pre-teen. You’ll also meet and develop community with other parents entering this phase. This class will meet for parents and students during COH Students at each campus.
2025 will be scheduled for the end of the school year. Check back in May!
Milestone: High School
High school is on the horizon. Don’t forfeit your influence now! Your encouragement, the way you listen, and the boundaries you set are still important parts of your child’s life, even when they push back. Milestone: High School is for students entering 9th grade and their parents. Students will have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of current high schoolers. During this phase, we recommend setting aside a time — a day or weekend away with your child — to dive deeper into important conversations about technology, health, sexuality, and faith. We will give you the resources to make this time both fun and significant.
2025 Classes begin March 1 at the Loxahatchee Campus
Milestone:Seniors
Milestone: Seniors is an experience for students who are high school seniors and their parents. This milestone focuses on skills and information needed to successfully leave home and maintain your faith in the next phase of life! We cover everything from how to get along with your roommate to finding a church home. We have fun, teach practical lessons—like how to manage a budget or find a campus ministry—and have deeper discussions around faith and important life decisions.
