Holy Week is celebrated in the week leading up to Easter, starting with Palm Sunday, moving to Good Friday, and into Easter weekend. Holy Week (April 5 - 12) will look different this year, but it is no less significant. Check out the opportunities below to experience Holy Week in a way you never have before!
Holy Week At-Home Experiences
We’re excited to offer two downloadable, “take home” experiences for you to experience God within your four walls.
Family Holy Week Activities: This packet contains activities and resources to help you teach your pre-school and elementary kids about the significance of Easter in meaningful and fun ways all throughout Holy Week.
Good Friday At-Home Experience: These packets contain instructions for people of all ages to remember what Jesus did for us on Good Friday. You’ll only need some basic supplies that you should have around your home. We have adult and family versions in both English and Spanish.
24-7 Prayer Week
We’re challenging our church to a full week of unbroken prayer to cover Community of Hope and Palm Beach County the entire week leading up to Easter Sunday. 24-7 Prayer Week is a prayer challenge for Community of Hope to fill 168 hour-long prayer slots the week before Easter. You can pray anywhere you feel God’s presence!
Neighborhood Egg Hunt
(Social-Distance Approved!)
Although we can’t host our typical large-scale community egg hunt this year, we are excited to bring you a social distance approved egg hunt format to reach out to our community and neighbors and invite them to our Easter services!
Here’s how it works...you give each of your neighbors a packet that has an invite letter, a hunt sheet and a couple of blank eggs to decorate. Your neighbors will decorate their blank eggs and put them somewhere that is visible from the street, like a front window, or on a garage door. Then, on the designated day, kids in the neighborhood can take a walk around and ‘find’ the eggs at each home from a safe distance.
