Blue Christmas

Christmas can be a time of great love and joy, but it can also be a season of loneliness and loss. This year, everyone has experienced loss of some kind—graduations, holiday-get-togethers, jobs, and maybe even the death of a loved one. Lament is an important part of the Christian tradition. Through lament, we recognize the good, God-given gifts that have been lost. And we focus our attention on the One who knows us deeply, understands our pain, and gives us hope. Our Blue Christmas service will focus on lament, loss, and the Hope that we find in Jesus. Invite your friends who’ve walked through loss to join you in this journey.
