Ash Wednesday
MARCH 5 | 6AM-9AM
Loxahatchee & Lake Worth Campus
Wednesday, March 5 marks Ash Wednesday - the first day of Lent, which is the 40-day period preceding Easter Sunday. On Ash Wednesday, some Christians choose to wear the physical symbol of ashes on their forehead as a physical reminder of our mortality and sin, and as an assurance of God's forgiveness and salvation.
This year, on Ash Wednesday, we will open the Sanctuary at both the Loxahatchee and Lake Worth campuses from 6am-9am. We invite you to come at any point to spend time with the Lord and begin Lent in a prayerful, intentional, reflective way. Ashes will be available for those who wish to receive them.
If you are not able to attend during these hours, please download the Ash Wednesday at-home experience to use on your own, or with your family or small group.
