Weddings at COH
Dear Future Bride and Groom,
So you’re planning a wedding! On behalf of the Community of Hope church family, let us be among the first to congratulate you on your decision to enter into one of the most amazing gifts God has ever given to humanity… marriage! God created marriage in the very first book of the Bible, where we learn that God created Eve as a companion to Adam. And following God’s creation, it is written: Genesis 2:24 (NTL) – This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
At Community of Hope, our goal in being involved in your wedding is two-fold: We’re committed to helping you plan not only for a glorious wedding day, but for a successful and fulfilling life together as a married couple. We’ll do this through careful review and planning of your wedding ceremony, as well as effective high-value pre-marital counseling to help you prepare for your marriage. And for this to work best, it will involve some effort from each of us… your officiating pastor and the bride and groom-to-be. All weddings are officiated by Rev. Trevor Johnston or Jeff MacIntosh.
What you will find here is everything you need to get started planning your wedding through Community of Hope, along with a clear explanation of how to move forward from this point. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our wedding process. May God richly bless this special time in your lives.
With excitement as you prepare…

Upon approval of the date for your wedding ceremony and rehearsal, you will be required to pay a $100 deposit to the West Campus office to secure the date. You will then be contacted by the office as to when your wedding coordinator will be assigned to you. This will aid the pastor to ensure your ceremony is well organized.
