Disaster Relief: North Florida and the Gulf Coast

Community of Hope believes strongly in providing relief and aid in Jesus’ name for those affected by natural disasters. In preparation for the upcoming storms to hit North Florida and in response to the flooding in the Gulf Coast, Community of Hope will be hosting a Flood Bucket Assembly night on Thursday September 8th from 6 pm to 7 pm. If you cannot attend the assembly we also will accept donations that will go straight to Disaster Response teams in North Florida and the Gulf Coast. You can also make a flood bucket at home and bring it to weekend services on September 10th and 11th. All flood buckets and donations will be delivered on Monday September 12th.

We encourage you to bring items that will assist Disaster Response teams in clean up work. The most requested items are:

  • Shovels
  • Utility knives, specifically sheetrock knives
  • Dust masks
  • Work gloves
  • Crowbars
  • Hammers
