Blue Christmas

Sometimes Christmas can be blue.

Thursday, 12/13 at 7:00pm; East Campus

The holidays remind us not of what, but who is important in our lives.

Christmas is a time of great joy and love, but it can also be a season of painful reminder. Reminder of illness, broken relationships, or lost loves ones. Nobody is immune to these hurtful experiences, and it’s okay to share your pain. Blue Christmas is a time to do just that: let your guard down—be vulnerable and let Christ carry out His perfect healing that we all so desperately need.

Community of Hope is a judgement-free space, and we promise that by coming, you won’t be automatically subscribed to any annoying email list or enrolled in a points-reward program. All are welcome to grieve with us and show love to others in the community.

  1. I am new to Community of Hope East Campus! I was sooooo looking forward to the Blue Christmas sService, but my cousin broke her hoop. She is in rehab in Brooksville, Fl and getting released on Monday . Someone needs to be with her so I am heading up on Monday! Do you know of any churches that are having the service in the Brooksville area? Her daughter is home at night so I could go. If there is one available! Thank you ! Kate

    1. Hey Katherine, welcome to COH! We’re so glad you’re here. As far as I’m aware, Blue Christmas is a service unique to Community of Hope, but I will have someone reach out to your email if I hear back otherwise. We will be praying for your cousin’s recovery!
