These groups are designed to be a place where you can build caring friendships with others while you discuss the Bible, pray and serve together.

We have over 1,000 people meeting in groups all over the western communities.  Below are some groups that are currently open to join.

We provide childcare during our Community Group meetings, to help families participate!

Sundays:
Mixed Group led by Vic Copan at the COH West church office – Sundays, 10:20-11:35am.  This group will do a study of the big picture of how God has interacted with people in Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.

College Age (late teens – early 20s) led by Eric Stewart and Mark & Mindy Gibbons at the Gibbons home in Loxahatchee.  Sundays, 1:30-3:00pm.  Lunch included!

Mixed Group for Parents of Adult Children led by Tim & Stephanie McLaughlin Sundays, 6:00-7:30pm meeting at COH West .  We will do a study on boundaries for parents of adult children.

Mixed Group – Old Testament Survey led by Andy Camizzi Sundays, 6:00-7:30pm in LaMancha. Get a better understanding of the culture and history of the Hebrew people and the surrounding nations spoken of in the O.T.

Mixed Group led by John & Janice Franchak- Sundays, 6:30-8:00pm meeting in the Acreage.

Mixed Group led by Larry Johnson – every other Sunday, 7:00-8:30pm meeting in Wellington.

Mondays:
Mixed Group led by Dave & Judy Hillberg hosted by Fran Rasmussen – Mondays 7:00-8:30pm meeting in Lake Clark Shores

Tuesdays:
Men’s Bible Journaling Group led by Pastor Dale Locke– Tuesdays 6:30-7:30am at Panera by Costco on Southern Blvd. & Lamstein Lane

Parents Group led by Paul & Tina Intoppa – Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm at the COH West church office.  Group for parents (single or married) with children ages 0-17, where you can study and discuss Christian principles of parenting in a fun and supportive environment.

Young Men’s Bible Study (20’s to early 30’s) led by Zak Stafford & Kyle Weaver – Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm at COH West.  Doing an in-depth study of the Old Testament called “Epic of Eden”.

Young Women’s Bible Journaling (20’s to early 30’s) led by Leah Johnston – Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm COH West

Women’s Group (for all ages) led by Fatma Collins – Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm at COH West.  After the “Community” study, we’ll do a study called “Truth and Freedom.”

Women’s Group (for all ages) led by Carletta Woerner – Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm at Carletta’s home in Royal Palm Beach.  This fall we’re doing a study called “Sacred Rhythms” on how to develop your own personal plan of spiritual practices that will help you change in the ways you want to see change.

Men’s Group (for all ages) – Tuesday 7:00-8:30pm led by Don Gay and team. Meeting at COH West 

Wednesdays:
Women’s Group – Wednesday 10:00-noon at the COH West.  Led by Led by Sandy Stafford and team.  This fall, we’re doing a study called “Calm My Anxious Heart” – a Bible study designed to help women live in God’s peace rather than being anxious.

Moms of Preschoolers Group – Wednesdays 9:30-11:30 at COH West. We’re here to provide fellow mothers with a safe and judgment-free environment to enhance personal and spiritual growth. Open to all moms of babies through preschool-age kids, whether you attend Community of Hope or not.

Parents Group led by Jeff & Jen MacIntosh – Wednesdays 6:45-8:15pm in the COH West Church Office.  We’re parents with kids in various ages and stages using the Phase Guide books written by the creators of Kids of Hope’s “Orange” curriculum to blend the love of the family (red) with the light of the church (yellow) and each child’s needs. Each family is different, so we’ll help each other take what the kids are learning in Kids of Hope and bring it into our unique week in their unique phase.

Single Adults Living Truth (SALT) Bible study and Community Group for 40+ singles – whether divorced, widowed or unmarried, led by Pat Lavelle & Carol Roman – Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30pm meeting at COH East in the Fellowship Hall.

Couples Group led by Chris Price meeting in La Mancha – Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30pm.  This fall we’re studying “The Five Love Languages for Marriage.”

Thursdays:
Young Men’s Bible Journaling Group led by Pastor Trevor Johnston – Thursdays, 6:30-7:30am at Panera by Costco on Southern Blvd. & Lamstein Lane

Women’s Beth Moore Study led by Beth Millett & Lou Sizemore – Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 am at COH West – doing Beth Moore’s new study called “The Quest” designed to promote deeper intimacy with God

Skeptics Explore Group led by Kathy Copan & Craig Stephens Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm at COH West.  This group gives those who find it difficult to believe an opportunity to talk about their faith barriers and to get helpful answers and evidence for Christianity’s core beliefs.  Register at communityofhope.church/skeptics.

Men’s Bible Study (all ages) led by Bill Mitchell– Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm at COH West

Women’s Bible Study led by Audrey Fertenbaugh & AvaSue Hickerson – Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm in Wellington (near the Wellington Green Mall).

Saturdays:
Men’s “Wild at Heart” Group led by Craig Weil – Saturdays, 8:30-10:00am in RPB near Costco.  Small group of men going through John Eldridge’s “Wild at Heart” study together.

Young Women’s Bible Study (for women in their 20’s) led by Chelsea Groelle – Every other Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the COH West church office (LEAD Center, on the North side of the parking lot)

Emmaus Accountability Groups:  
Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual weekend designed to inspire, challenge and equip Christians for a deeper walk with Christ. We have a church-wide database to connect those who have attended the Walk to Emmaus or a similar event, so we can keep you informed concerning groups and upcoming events in the Emmaus/Chrysalis community.
