These groups are designed to be a place where you can build caring friendships with others while you discuss the Bible, pray and serve together.

We have over 1,000 people meeting in groups all over the western communities.  Below are some groups that are currently open to join.

Open COH West Groups:


Mixed Group for Parents of Adult Children led by Tim & Stephanie McLaughlin 6:00-7:30pm meeting at COH West.  Doing  a study on boundaries for parents of adult children.


Men’s Bible Journaling Group led by Pastor Dale Locke– 6:30-7:30am at Panera by Costco on Southern Blvd. & Lamstein Lane

Young Men’s Bible Study (20’s to early 30’s) led by Zak Stafford & Kyle Weaver – 7:00-8:30pm at COH West.

Young Women’s Bible Journaling (20’s to early 30’s) led by Leah Johnston –7:00-8:30pm at COH West

Women’s Group (for all ages) led by Fatma Collins – 7:00-8:30pm at COH West.  

Men’s Group (for all ages) – 7:00-8:30pm led by Don Gay and team. Meeting at COH West 


Summer Moms Group –  9:30-11:30 at COH West. Led by Illiana Morel and Colleen Carlton. Sign up here.


The Case for Christ – 7 – 8:30pm at COH West. Thought-provoking video & group discussion where you can ask anything without getting judgment or pat answers. All are welcome. Refreshments and free child care included

Young Men’s Bible Journaling Group led by Pastor Trevor Johnston –  6:30-7:30am at Panera by Costco on Southern Blvd. & Lamstein Lane

Women’s Group led by Beth Millett & Lou Sizemore – 10:00-11:30 am at COH West – Join us this summer as we go through the New Testament book of James together verse by verse, applying it to our lives.

Downtown Lunchtime Group – 12:30-1:30pm at the Government Center; led by Noel Chessman studying Greg Boyd’s book, Letters from a Skeptic.

Women’s Bible Study led by Audrey Fertenbaugh & AvaSue Hickerson – 7:00-8:30pm in Wellington (near the Wellington Green Mall).


Young Women’s Bible Study (for women in their 20’s) led by Chelsea Groelle – Every other Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the COH West church office (LEAD Center, on the North side of the parking lot)

Open COH East Groups:


“Covenant Living” – Mixed Group led by Richard Ritch and Jim & Rebecca Gann – 9am on the East Campus. This large group studies books of the Bible

“Living Saints”  – Mixed Group led by Wanda Varnadore and Lynne Hawk –  9am at the East Campus. This Group studies books of the Bible and prays together

“Heart to Heart” – Women’s Group led by Sherrie Hall & Heather Illsley – 9:15am at the East Campus. We enjoy Bible discussion, prayer and friendship together.


“God First” – Men’s Group led by Angel Borges – 7:00 pm in the at the East Campus.

Mixed Group led by Dave Hilberg– 6:30 at Fran Rasmussen’s home in Lake Clarke Shores.

“Life with Kids” – Mixed Group led by Jon & Bev Howery – 6-7:30 pm at the East Campus. Connect to other families to share struggles & joys. We’ll discuss the previous Sunday’s message and seek to apply it in our lives and families. Child Care provided. Email [email protected]

Women’s Group led by Sharon Raskin & Grace Keim– 10 am on the East Campus. In January we’ll start a study on Romans.

“Iron Sharpens Iron” – Men’s Group led by Stephen Pain – 7 pm at the East Campus


Men’s Group led by Jeff Gronborg – 7 pm every other week in a home near Gun Club & Jog Road

Emmaus Accountability Groups:   Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual weekend designed to inspire, challenge and equip Christians for a deeper walk with Christ. We have a church-wide database to connect those who have attended the Walk to Emmaus or a similar event, so we can keep you informed concerning groups and upcoming events in the Emmaus/Chrysalis community.
