Trevor was born in Seattle, WA but grew up in the greater Tampa Bay area. Trevor married the love of his life, Leah, in the summer of 2009. Together they welcomed their first child in the fall of 2012 – Cade.
Upon graduation from high school, Trevor attended Florida State University where he graduated with a BS in Communication Studies and a minor in Religion. Throughout his collegiate career Trevor participated heavily in the FSU Wesley Foundation. Upon graduation from FSU, Trevor spent a year as a ministry intern and then in the fall of 2007 he was hired full-time as an Assistant Director. After three incredible years in full-time ministry at FSU Wesley, Trevor and Leah sensed it was time to move to Wilmore, KY to attend Asbury Theological Seminary to pursue theological education and ordination in the United Methodist Church. In May 2014, Trevor graduated from Asbury Seminary with a Masters of Divinity, and was commissioned in that June as an Provisional Elder in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. Trevor was appointed as the Associate Pastor of Community of Hope on June 15, 2014 and is beyond thrilled to be a part of this amazing movement of God.
Trevor’s personal passion is to see people who are far from God be raised to life in Christ. Outside of spirituality, his interests include eating all kinds of awesome food, coffee-snobbery, Tae Kwon Do, Apple fanboy-ism, graphic design, Tampa Bay Buccaneer Football, all things Superman/Batman and, embarrassingly, pro wrestling.
